Grand Palace & The Emerald Buddha

The Grand Palace is the former residence of the King and built adjacent to and more or less integrated with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew). The palace was originally built together with the establishment of Bangkok (Krung Rattanakosin) by King Rama I the Great and has been expanded ever since. It covers a wide range of architectural styles, ranging from the pure Ayutthayan style of the temples to a blend of Thai and Western for the later structures. Today, the complex covers a total area of 132 rai and comprises 3 major quarters; namely, Phra Maha Prasat – the throne halls, Phra Ratchamonthian Sathan – royal residences and Wat Phra Keow – the Temple of the Emerald Buddha. While the king no longer lives here, a large part of the complex is used for ceremonies and is off-limits to tourists.

Ancient City (Mon/Wed/Fri)

Crocodile Farm (Mon/Wed/Fri)

This place is the largest crocodile farm in the world and is certainly worth visiting, if not just to see the crocodile wrestling and acrobat elephant shows. There is an education and research center for the preservation of wildlife and also a dinosaur museum. A fun day out for all the family.

Dream World

Dream World is without a doubt one of the best theme parks in Asia with rides for the whole family.The park is divided into several zones with each containing a specific group of rides: Dream World Plaza, Dream Gardens, Fantasy Land, and Adventure Land. Damnern Saduak Floating Market

This floating market is one of the most famous tourist attractions in the Bangkok Metropolis. The floating market displays authentic Thai-style commerce which has been done since the ancient days. Here, you can find merchants slowly going up and down the river and selling their goods.
